About you: We are seeking an Inventory Controller/Store person with previous experience in managing inventory and running a busy store. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of inventory practices, be a team player, is self-motivated, able to work unsupervised, and have a culture for continuous improvement. This role provides Container Refrigeration with a single point of accountability for our Container Fleet and Spare parts. You will be across and adhere to all warehouse safety practices and possess strong time management skills and attention to detail. You will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate strong communication and customer relation skills. Above-average computer skills are also a requirement for this position. Previous experience with Pronto or similar ERP system experience is highly desirable. A forklift ticket will be required for this role; however, the company will assist a suitable candidate to obtain a forklift ticket if required after the probation period. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Inventory management and stock control, including stock counts.
2. Attending to and processing all goods inward and outwards
3. Track all sea container movements in and out of the yard.
4. Purchase order creation and Management
5. Ensuring safe warehouse operations
6. Liaising with suppliers/delivery drivers
7. Picking, packing, and dispatching orders
8. Depot Maintenance / Maintenance of all equipment for normal operation
9. Ability to undertake manual handling tasks on a regular basis.
10. Housekeeping and ad hoc duties as required to ensure smooth operation of the warehouse.
11. Assist trade, yard staff & office with inventory & asset-related issues as required.
12. Pronto experience is highly desirable but not essential.
