Description

The 20ft Dry Container with Super Folding Side Doors provides wide side access for loading oversized, bulky or difficult-to-handle equipment. The entire right-hand side wall opens in folding sections, while standard double cargo doors provide an additional access point at the end.

Constructed from steel and fitted with a plywood floor and high-security lock boxes, this specialised container is ideal for equipment storage, staged displays and applications where standard end-door access is too restrictive. Brand-new CSC-certified stock may be available, subject to confirmation.

Can be certified for offshore.

Why Choose Super Folding Side Doors?

A conventional shipping container requires goods to be loaded through doors at one end. This can make it difficult to move large equipment into position, particularly when the container already contains other items.

Super Folding Side Doors provide:

  • Wide access along the right-hand side of the container
  • Easier loading of large and bulky equipment
  • More flexibility when positioning stored items
  • Improved access to equipment located throughout the container
  • Standard end-door access for conventional loading
  • Flexibility for specialised storage and stage-container applications

Suitable for Custom Projects

The broad side opening makes this container a practical starting point for projects requiring visibility, accessibility or a large open frontage.

Depending on the intended use and modifications, potential configurations could include:

  • Equipment stores
  • Mobile displays
  • Event activations
  • Temporary presentation spaces
  • Trade-show installations
  • Custom stage-container projects

Container Delivery & Transport Options

Choosing the right truck type helps make your container delivery safer, smoother and more cost-effective. Review the main transport options below to help plan access, clearance and placement before delivery.

Side Loader / Swing Lift

Best for: sites with clear side access.

A side loader unloads the container from the driver’s side of the truck, placing the container beside the vehicle

  • Fast and efficient unloading
  • Suitable for most standard deliveries
  • Requires enough width for truck and container
Clearance Required

20ft: 4.6m H x 6m W x 10m L
40ft: 4.6m H x 6m W x 16m L

Tilt Tray Truck

Best for: cost-effective delivery where rear access is available.

A tilt tray reverses into position, tilts the tray and slides the container off the rear as the truck moves forward.

  • Usually the cheapest transport option
  • Suitable for empty or lighter containers
  • Weight restrictions can apply
Clearance Required

20ft: 5m H x 3.5m W x 20m L
40ft: 6m H x 3.5m W x 40m L

Tilt Tray Truck

Best for: tight access, uneven ground or precise placement.A Hiab truck uses a mounted crane to lift and position the container more accurately, including onto blocks for levelling.
  • Most precise placement option
  • Helpful for difficult access sites
  • Can place containers approx. 4m from the truck
Clearance Required

20ft: 4.6m entry height, 10m unload height, 3.5m W x 10m L
