Thermoshield Thermal Insulation

Thermoshield liquid thermal insulation effectively lowers energy consumption by reducing heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. This widely favored solution helps maintain low energy costs. More than just paint, Thermoshield is an insulative coating that can be applied to all our shipping containers.

Description

Thermoshield’s Ceramic Thermal Barrier Properties

Thermoshield’s effectiveness as a thermal barrier comes from millions of hollow microscopic spheres that cluster together, creating dead air space. This unique structure allows Thermoshield to counter radiant heat transfer and remain effective even when tarnished, addressing the full solar spectrum.

Year-Round Energy Savings

Thanks to its high insulation properties, Thermoshield offers energy savings throughout the year. Its coating provides outstanding adhesion, durability, flexibility, and high electrical and thermal resistance. Being chemically inert, Thermoshield withstands the damaging effects of acids, chemicals, oxygen, and water.

Beyond a Top-Quality White Paint

Thermoshield is more than just a high-quality white paint; it’s a thermal ceramic coating that can resolve corrosion issues and prevent major heat transfer in any environment. A study by the University of Melbourne highlighted an additional benefit of Thermoshield: its ability to improve heat retention within a container during colder weather.

Container Delivery & Transport Options

Choosing the right truck type helps make your container delivery safer, smoother and more cost-effective. Review the main transport options below to help plan access, clearance and placement before delivery.

Side Loader / Swing Lift

Best for: sites with clear side access.

A side loader unloads the container from the driver’s side of the truck, placing the container beside the vehicle

  • Fast and efficient unloading
  • Suitable for most standard deliveries
  • Requires enough width for truck and container
Clearance Required

20ft: 4.6m H x 6m W x 10m L
40ft: 4.6m H x 6m W x 16m L

Tilt Tray Truck

Best for: cost-effective delivery where rear access is available.

A tilt tray reverses into position, tilts the tray and slides the container off the rear as the truck moves forward.

  • Usually the cheapest transport option
  • Suitable for empty or lighter containers
  • Weight restrictions can apply
Clearance Required

20ft: 5m H x 3.5m W x 20m L
40ft: 6m H x 3.5m W x 40m L

Tilt Tray Truck

Best for: tight access, uneven ground or precise placement.A Hiab truck uses a mounted crane to lift and position the container more accurately, including onto blocks for levelling.
  • Most precise placement option
  • Helpful for difficult access sites
  • Can place containers approx. 4m from the truck
Clearance Required

20ft: 4.6m entry height, 10m unload height, 3.5m W x 10m L
40ft: 4.6m entry height, 10m unload height, 3.5m W x 20m L
