High Security Anti-Vandal Container Door

SKU D-PD-HS-AV Categories , , Tags , , ,

Description

Not your standard security door

Our anti-vandal container doors have been engineered purposely for this industry, making it unique and very different to other doors in our other ranges. PU foam insulation, a fully welded frame and sealed joints make for a stiff, rigid door set for easy installation when welding into a shipping container. Compared to our standard ranges, and increased tolerance has been factored in to allow for movement in the shipping container when in transit, or for when it is positioned on an uneven surface.

Finish

Wet sprayed with a grey primer finish, the paint has been designed to take your final paint coat on-site. We recommend painting within 24 hours of install.

Construction

Manufactured with 1mm galvanised steel door skins and 2mm galvanised frames, this particular door has a 3mm thick astragal* welded to the latching side and top of the door for additional security.

*Astragal is mild steel

Insulation

Insulated with polyurethane foam (also known as PU foam), the door leaf AND frame are injected with PU foam for superior insulation values and improved strength and rigidity.

Internal reinforcements

A full subframe, weld mesh, door closer reinforcing plate and additional corner struts are welded inside the door for added strength and integrity.

Locking System

Our trademark Genuine HOOPLY® multi-point locking system is integrated into our container personnel doors. The locking system is protected with 2mm lock boxes and stainless steel tubes to protect the connecting rods. An adjustable latch keep is integrated into the strike plate and lockbox, to allow for on-site adjustments.

Container Delivery & Transport Options

Choosing the right truck type helps make your container delivery safer, smoother and more cost-effective. Review the main transport options below to help plan access, clearance and placement before delivery.

A side loader unloads the container from the driver’s side of the truck, placing the container beside the vehicle

  • Fast and efficient unloading
  • Suitable for most standard deliveries
  • Requires enough width for truck and container
Clearance Required

20ft: 4.6m H x 6m W x 10m L
40ft: 4.6m H x 6m W x 16m L

Tilt Tray Truck

Best for: cost-effective delivery where rear access is available.

A tilt tray reverses into position, tilts the tray and slides the container off the rear as the truck moves forward.

  • Usually the cheapest transport option
  • Suitable for empty or lighter containers
  • Weight restrictions can apply
Clearance Required

20ft: 5m H x 3.5m W x 20m L
40ft: 6m H x 3.5m W x 40m L

Tilt Tray Truck

Best for: tight access, uneven ground or precise placement.A Hiab truck uses a mounted crane to lift and position the container more accurately, including onto blocks for levelling.
  • Most precise placement option
  • Helpful for difficult access sites
  • Can place containers approx. 4m from the truck
Clearance Required

20ft: 4.6m entry height, 10m unload height, 3.5m W x 10m L
